The Challenge: A newly established manned guarding company was trying to make its mark in the Abu Dhabi market. Providing the same level of service as others in the industry would not be sufficient for their investors to get desired returns.

The Solution: GroupL sent their trainers from overseas to the client’s work sites and provided on-the-job training to the security officers. New guards were trained in the source countries prior to deployment. The training did not only cover security related topics but even customer handling skills, communication skills and general awareness about the local customs in the UAE.

The Result: The clients were appreciative that someone was interested in up-skilling the guards and this lead to a sharp increase in client referrals. All of the guards who were trained prior to deployment passed the licensing exams in the first attempt. Additionally, staff turnover across the company reduced drastically resulting in an improved bottom line.


Our in-house training capabilities, deliver a diverse range of training services to clients looking for job-ready candidates. Our collaborations with technical institutes enable us to conduct in-source-country training as well as assess the candidates skills. Training is essentially conducted in English with anecdotes supplied in the local language.

In India, along with the Government of Kerala, we have set-up a Security Training Academy, with the specific purpose of sending trained security personnel to the Middle East.

Our training can be customized to suit the clients requirements and be delivered prior to deployment of the workers. We also offer tailor-made training at clients worksites to bring up the standard of the workforce post-deployment.
